So Rob is now on day 2 of his detox.
Shortly after blogging last night he fell asleep, I think it was around 8:30pm but obviously exhausted.
This morning he was up bright and early, and after his 'breakfast' he went out for a bike ride. Not much energy again today but the headache has completely disappeared which is good.
We were due to go out for a walk too but the heavens opened so didn't quite make it out of the door!
I am really impressed with how he has coped over the two toughest days of the detox. I measured his waist this morning and it is already smaller than yesterday so cannot wait to see the difference.
His lunch is prepared ready for tomorrow - and the fridge is full of greenery!

Clean 9 Detox - Day 1
Well Rob started his Clean 9 detox today.
He seemed less than impressed when I showed him what would be involved but he realises he needs to lose weight so this seemed the perfect place to start.
Being ever so slightly scheptical he doesn't believe that his will lose any weight or inches, I on the other hand believe he will lose upto haf a stone :-)
So today he has kept himself really busy and been out for a long bike ride, a walk and then a second walk to get him some skimmed milk!
I am staying out of his way whilst I eat and drink just so he doesn't feel too bad.
I have to say he has been very chipper so far today, we took all of his measurements yesterday and now have the 'before' pictures prepared for the end of the detox.
Appart from being a little sleepy today he has been very upbeat, he hasn't felt hungry and even mentioned feeling quite full after his shake at lunch time.
The Aloe drinking gel isn't going down too well though, he drinks 60ml each day anyway but this is quite a but different he is drinking more in one go and doing so more often than he would like!
This evening he has mentioned he has a head ache so is taking on more water. All in all though not too bad, lets see what tomorrow brings!
I will be keeping you posted over the next 9 days, the highs and lows and finishing off with the before and after pics!

Wonder Gel!
I have to share my favourite product ever with you. It is the Aloe Very Gelly, it comes in a tube but is pretty much the same as taking the gel direct from an Aloe Vera plant.
I used this product before I became a distributor, I have a pet rat who had a nasty lump on her neck that she kept scratching. We used to plaster this on and within a few days it was completely healed.
She loves eating it too and because it is natural and actually does her some good she has a little bit each morning as a treat!
Since becoming a distributor I have used it most recently on my burnt scalp, sunburn, dry skin, stinging nettles, cuts but the best bit was using it on my ulcer.
I used to suffer badly from them and was given some tablets to keep on the ulcers when they were really bad. These left scarring inside my mouth so I wasnt overly keen to continue, so when I got my latest one I stuck a load of the gel on and it worked wonders.
My cousin also used it on her daughters Chicken Pox and within 2 days they were gone!
This in my opinion is the best all round product and great for first aid kits, kids and pets. It lasts for ages and ages.

Detox
Its that time of year again where people are keen to shift a pound or two as they prepare to bare the flesh ready for the beach.

I started Clean 9 on Saturday 5th May. I liked the idea that following the programme would cleanse my body of unnatural chemicals and I needed to lose weight and adopt a healthier eating lifestyle.
The first 2 days (Phase 1) were really difficult, the second day even more so. Drinking 120ml of Aloe Vera in one go was really challenging – I nearly threw up the first time (I drink Aloe Vera anyway, but had never drank so much in one go). Wracked with guilt, I decided to re-do another day of Phase 1 and stuck to it rigidly. Felt hungry but no headache or lethargy.
On day 3 I started Phase 2 which meant I could have a shake for breakfast and lunch and a proper meal for dinner (yay). First thing in the morning I weighed myself and had lost almost 2 lbs. I felt hungry between lunch and dinner because there is a big gap with no food to fill it. I drank water and did chores to take my mind off the hunger. I had my first bit of food for a couple of days and it was great, I couldn’t eat it quick enough and I savoured all the different tastes. Probably not the best thing to do but I’d really missed eating. I also found the Aloe blossom tea to be a lifesaver. I love that tea, it really makes me feel comfortable when I drink it.
Day 4, I still think about food a lot and my tummy rumbles a lot. I drink more water and have a slight headache but its great to be able to eat a meal of an evening.
Day 5, I feel lighter. I am hungry at times but drink more water.
Day 6, I forgot to weigh myself. I don’t feel so bothered about food today. I couldn’t resist so I ordered the Nutri-Lean programme as I want to keep going. I cannot bear the thought of doing all this good and then undoing it by going back to bad habits.
Day 7, Saturday 12th May. I weighed myself and I cannot believe it. I have lost 10lbs!!! What??? That certainly gives me a boost – even though I had a slip on Phase 1. I spoke to David who said that toxins and bacteria weigh heavier in the body so that is why the weightloss is so great. Unbelievable! I am so happy to have achieved such great results in such a short space of time.
Willpower, determination and commitment is what this programme demands. Its not for the faint-hearted or for those not serious about a kick-start to losing weight and cleansing their system. It really is difficult (Phase 1 is the hardest) but if you follow it, it will do what its supposed to do. And I’ve proved that even if go a little off course, you can still pull it back and get great results.

What a Headache!
Yesterday afternoon I had a terrible headache just before I was due to go to a birthday party. I absolutely hate taking tablets unless I absolutely have to so I decided to try something that one of my up line managers had mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
She mentioned that the Aloe Heat Lotion if applied to the temples on the side of your head can help headaches. I applied a little bit on each temple and within half an hour my headache had completely gone, I got to the party and was absolutely fine!

Forever Bright Toothgel
One of my favourite products so far is the Forever Bright Toothgel. I think it is one of my favourites because I noticed an instant difference in my gums after using it (plus its bright green!)
I used to suffer from really bad bleeding gums, not only when I brushed my teeth but also after eating and even things like sandwiches.
After a couple of days the bleeding had stopped when eating and within a week my gums weren't bleeding after brushing my teeth.
The toothgel is really fresh tasting and you only need half the amount you would normally use. My teeth stay really clean all day now.
It is made using Aloe Vera (of course) bee propolis and natural spearmint and peppermint flavours.
It helps to combat plaque and naturally whitens and is safe for the whole family to use.
The one thing it doesn't contain is fluoride. I initially thought fluoride was put into our pastes and water to help maintain healthy gums and teeth until I did a bit of research. Prepared to be shocked!
In America tooth pastes which contain Fluoride have the poison warning on the tube, why?

Introduction
They produce a wide range of health and well being products from their own crop of Aloe Vera plants and only use the best parts of the plant to ensure the products work without the aid of any nasty additions.
I had known about the business for a number of years before finally resisting! So what changed? Well I attended a presentation and everyone was very positive, focussed and keen for others to succeed. I brought Rob along to the one the following week just in case I was getting a bit carried away and came home with our starters kit ready to start our business.
